I’ve been awfully quiet the past couple of weeks. One of my reasons is that I was just lazy but the other reason is that was sick literally for almost a week. I eventually ended up at the doc on Tuesday and he diagnosed me with having something called upper respiratory infection. It might not sound bad but boy did it feel bad. Contrary to popular belief, somehow people seemed to think I was pregnant. I had sleepless nights, a high fever that just wouldn’t go away, no appetite, aching body and a tight chest. Today is the first time I’m out of bed and feeling human again. It was dreadful but I thank all of you that kept me in your prayers because that’s what pulled me through. My hubby was an absolute star in all of this, don’t know what I’d do without him.

Hope you had a great weekend like myself and is ready to start another week. Here’s something just to give you a boost.
The trainer takes a baby elephant and ties him to a stake with a big, heavy chain. The elephant pulls & tugs but he can’t break the chain. Eventually he stops trying. He is now a six-ton elephant with the circus. He could easily pull the entire stake out of the ground-plus the stage- but he doesn’t even try. Consider how the elephant’s story relates to your career experience. Never assume the doors that were once closed are still closed! Ask again! Move beyond assumed constraints to reach your goals today!!! The chains are off….
Have a wonderful Monday!
